Hull Veteran’s Weekend 2015
Thousands of Visitors visited East Park in Hull over the weekend of 25th and 26th of July for the eleventh Veterans Weekend. The two day event helps to raise the profile of the work our armed forces and veterans do both within the community and all over the World. It is a celebration event, celebrating the past to the present
The weekend attractions included living re-enactments WWI, WWII, living history displays and a 1940’s stage show. There was a designated children’s corner, with different activities from WWI and WWII craft activities to donkey rides, soft play and even reptiles at Sam's Safari, all this and much more!
Once again the Veteran’s tent housed various local military associations, the Hull & East Riding Branch was in attendance displaying many Military Police items dating from the present back to the Second World War, from items of uniform to route signing.
Also in attendance were members of 150 & 252 Pro Coy RMP, they turned up with a patrol car and which once again proved popular with the kids!
