Hull Transport Museum Remembrance Weekend 8 & 9 November 2014
The Hull Branch attended the two day event which was held at the Streetlife Museum, in the Museums Quarter of High Street.
Over the weekend there were activities for all age ranges from the young to those who are not so young. Activities included live music, re-enactments and static displays. Also in attendance was a full-sized replica First World War tank and other military vehicles. Over 2000 people attended the event.
Sunday 9 th November
The Branch attended the Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotaph on Ferensway
Branch Members also attended the dedication ceremony in Paragon Station, for the unveiling of the new wooden panels. These panels lists the names of more than 2,000 men from Hull who lost their lives in World War One.
